A Little About Me:

I am a true believer of FAMILY! I am a mother of six beautiful children ranging in ages from three to seventeen! A wife, of twenty years, to my high school sweetheart and love of my life. I truly enjoy my job as wife and mother. I also enjoy cooking, gardening and researching almost anything. As a family we have been on a personal transformation to live a life that respects our earth and hope to share our adventures with others, in hopes of keeping our world healthy for many, many generations to come.

Wordful/Wordless Wednesday – Onigiri

My daughters have been in the kitchen this week. They made Onigiri (rice balls). These are really easy and a very tasty side dish. We used some pink salmon which we sauteed in a little  salt and topped with plum sauce.

The girls had fun making them into shapes. They started with the traditional triangle and then Ally got creative and made some animals. Artistic cooking, what fun!

We made a bunch and had them with dinner and then the next day, they were a great snack for the little ones. Easy, healthy and yummy!

A magical Wednesday to you!
