Sum It Up Saturday!
Good Morning! Are you ready or are you using this weekend to frantically finish up all your holiday shopping? We are a little bit of both here. I am going to scoot out this morning and grab a few little things, but basically I am done,[ which is good because our twelve day celebration starts tomorrow! I am excited and the kids seem to be also. I keep having last minute panic attacks that I forgot something and I still have a couple orders that need to arrive but I know it will be okay. I do need to do some wrapping!!! When do you find time to wrap?
Please be patient over the next twelve days, I plan to share lots about our celebration BUT we also will be busy, so if I miss you here and there, I am sorry, I will make it up!
This week has been very busy!
I got am early present … On The Edge Marketing sent me a wagon to review, I just had to pay the shipping! We have already started using it and I can tell you that it is great. So look for my complete review after the new year! I am so thankful for this, it really is great!
Thursday was a beautiful day so we went to the park and tried out the above mentioned wagon. It was very nice to get out and play and get a natural dose of vitamin D! It put us all in better moods!
My regular computer is not working, AARRGGHH … when I turn it on it does not boot up, it just beeps every few seconds. So we may have to get a new one. I would not worry about it but we use it a lot for homeschooling and Dan will be starting an online course in January! So thankfully his work offers a computer loan program so we can pay over a year with no interest. Now I just need to figure out getting all my pictures and documents off the old one!
Last week we had a little snow!
For Sam it was magical, actually all the children were up and out the door bright and early! They really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed that the next day it was warm and sunny again!
Lets see what else has been going on this week … Dan had a lymph node that was infected so we have been doing a nightly regimen of grated carrot (to pull out the infection), heat, massage and some herbal tinctures (Calendulla, Goldenseal and Oregon Grape). It is getting a lot better so that is great! I really like using natural remedies. I find them to be so much more effective and better for us. They are time consuming but in the long run I feel it is worth it!
I guess that really is all … I’ll leave you with a funny little blurb:
Rick (who is 4) asked yesterday “Mom, can I change my name to Wyatt?” and I said sure! Then last night at bed he said: “Mom, after I sleep my name will be Joe and someday it will be Billy.” So I think when he gets up today I am suppose to call him Joe. Apparently we are just trying on new names for size this week. Interesting, maybe I will change mine too, wonder what it should be? What would you change your name to?
Hope your weekend is magical!

Gosh I remember wishing I could change my name when I was a kid! For the life of me I can’t remember what I wanted to change it to.
I got all of my shopping done yesterday. Today I did the wrapping. Now on to the baking.. Have a great night Amy..
